We got a little creative trying to get students to take the NSSE survey. I made ramen cup castles with site codes taped to the top.
In a surprising turn of events many students weren’t as excited for the ramen as we had hoped they would be. We thought it was a silly give away that they would respond to.
I blame the cafeteria for feeding the students too well. In the past these kind of campaigns did very well.
We still had good amounts of students stop and talk to us. Our thought is we can use the leftovers to give to freshmen over the summer.
In the end it was a good experience and that taught me valuable lessons about foot traffic on campus. I’ll try again with a different prize for the next survey though.
